January 30, 2006: More than four months after the earthquake, with winter well set in, EHA is still there providing medical help and relief to thousands of earthquake affected people, shivering in the onslaught of snow and unrelenting rain. Through EHA's medical camps and mobile clinics, hundreds of people in remote areas in the valleys and mountainsides have had access to emergency medicines, vaccinations, nutritional supplements and hygiene kits.
Braving extreme cold climatic conditions and heavy snowfall the EHA team consisting of Siju, Trinath, Koshy, Stanley, George and others continued to serve the people of Kashmir throughout the winter.
