Madhipura Christian Hospital traces its beginning to 1953 when it was started as a small dispensary by the Brethren in Christ Church. It is located in the northeast part of Bihar. In 2008 the district of Madhipura was ravaged by the flood in the Koshi region and closed down temporarily. It was reopened in 2009 and the OPD and IPD were completely renovated. Today the 25 beds hospital offers medical care services - Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Radiology, Immunisation, Paediatrics, Nursery, Palliative and Critical care. The community health program is involved in Anti-trafficking, Livelihood support, Disaster preparedness, and Dalit empowerment in then communities.
